The First (or only) Container ID field becomes mandatory when the Using Own Label Numbers box has been checked. Using Own Label Numbers is used to indicate that you are choosing to opt out of SPS Commerce generated Labels for a designated shipment; and you will generate your Shipping Labels internally.

If you are using your own internally generated Shipping Labels, please reference this <a href="http://help.fulfillment.spscommerce.com/how-to-articles/using-own-label-numbers" target="_blank">article</a> to learn how to properly utilize both the Using Own Label Numbers and First (or only) Container ID fields.

If you accidentally clicked the Use Own Label Numbers field and wish to use Fulfillment generated labels, you will need to create a new Advance Ship Notice and ensure the Using Own Label Numbers box remains unchecked.
