Advanced Viewing Preferences allows you to customize visible fields within the Quick Entry screen to:

  • Make non-required fields always visible in Quick Entry.

  • Display mandatory fields in Quick Entry even if data has already sourced in.

Set Advanced Viewing Preference

Set Advanced Viewing Preferences in Auto Sourcing under the Preferences tab. Click the document you wish to set Advanced Viewing Preferences for to load the Auto Sourcing page for that document.

On the right of every field names, there is a small gear icon. Click this icon to open the Advanced Viewing Preferences window.

The Advanced Preferences window shows a quick description of the field and the option to select an Advanced Viewing option. The options are either: None or Display in Quick Entry. Once you've selected your desired option, click Apply.

  • None: the field will work in the default way. The field will only show in Quick Entry if both mandatory and valid data has not sourced in already.

  • Display in Quick Entry: the field will always show in Quick Entry whether mandatory or not or whether it has data already or not.

Once you have entered all values you would like to default in Auto Sourcing, make sure to click Save and Toggle the form's Auto Sourcing on to activate the newly created rules.

When creating the document in Quick Entry, an eye icon indicates that you have set up Advanced Viewing Preferences for that field.
