Just like the templates used in print making as guides to create multiple of the same print, Templates in Fulfillment can be created and saved to serve as a guide, or starting point, for return documents you create.

Complete the actions below to create a new template:

  1. Create a new blank document, such as an Inventory Advice or Free Form Invoice.
  2. Add information to the template that will not change from Inventory Advice to Inventory Advice you send. 
  3. At the top left of the document, click Create New Template.
  4. Label the new Template. Be as specific as possible. 

To locate an existing template, or create a new one, follow the steps listed below: 

  1. Within the Transactions tab, click Create New
  2. Select the Trading Partner you wish to work with, then click Continue
  3. Select I don't have a source document, then select the document you wish to create. 
  4. Click Continue
  5. Select the existing template you would like to leverage from the menu, or select No thanks, I’d like to start from a blank document to create a new template. 
  6. Click Continue
