Fulfillment Monitor provides end-to-end Fulfillment transaction visibility and enhances your Fulfillment product experience. Check out the top use cases below.

  1. Print your business document(s)

  2. Confirm your Trading Partner successfully received your document(s)

  3. Find your document's delivery details

  4. Search for historical documents

1 - Print your business document(s)
Sometimes you need a paper copy of your transaction. Fulfillment Monitor compiles your transaction's business-critical information into one Business View so you can print straight from the search results or Transaction Details. The printable format reduces white space and uses the minimum amount of paper to get you the information you need.

2 - Confirm your Trading Partner successfully received your document(s)
Check two statuses to determine the overall transmission success of your transaction.

  • The Transaction Status will tell you if SPS Commerce processed your transaction delivered it to its intended destination. Three possible options:

  1. Complete indicates SPS Commerce successfully delivered the transaction.

  2. Erred indicates the transaction was not successfully delivered.

  3. In Process indicates the transaction is on its way.

  • The Acknowledgement Status will tell you if your Trading Partner sent a confirmation receipt (EDI document 997 or CONTRL) after receiving the original transaction. Five possible options:

  1. Acknowledged indicates your Trading Partner sent a confirmation receipt and accepted the original transaction. The confirmation receipt is available to view in the Source or Destination tab under Acknowledgement File.

  2. Rejected indicates your Trading Partner sent a confirmation receipt but rejected the original transaction. The confirmation receipt is available to view in the Source or Destination tab under Acknowledgement File.

  3. Unacknowledged indicates your Trading Partner did not send sent a confirmation receipt yet.

  4. Invalid Acknowledgement indicates your Trading Partner sent a confirmation receipt but SPS Commerce could not process it.

  5. N/A indicates your Trading Partner will not sent a confirmation receipt.

3 - Find your document's Delivery Details
When your transaction reaches its final destination, you can view additional information in Delivery Details.

For example, if your transaction was sent via a VAN, you can see the Mailbag Acknowledgement number.

If your transaction was sent via a AS2, you can see the MDN Acknowledgement number.

4 - Search for historical documents
Need to reference a document you sent or received two months ago? No problem! Use the SPS Received Date, SPS Delivered Date, and/or Acknowledgement Date fields within Advanced Search to specify your date range and find historical transactions. Fulfillment Monitor can currently search for transactions from the past three months. In future product updates, you will be able to search for transactions from the past 18 months.
