The document status of In Transit indicates that your document was sent to your Trading Partner and SPS Commerce is awaiting confirmation that they successfully received it. This confirmation can take anywhere from 1 to 24 hours.

After 24 hours, the document will display within the Pending Partner Receipt Insight and an Alert will appear on the document. If you have questions for documents in the status Pending Partner Receipt reach out to our Support Team to confirm the document successfully left our system and to gather identifying information. The support team may advise you to contact your trading partner to ensure the document was received. 

If your Trading Partner did receive your document, they can either send you a manual acknowledgement, or you can wait until you are done with the Order and use the Close Workflow icon to manually close the workflow.
