What is Create and Send?
Create and Send simplifies your document creation so you can create and send a return document without any manual data entry required. A one-time configuration is necessary in settings per trading partner and document for this feature to work. Continue reading to learn more!
Why would I use Create and Send?
Do you have to create several return documents for your trading partner for each order that have the same information over and over again? If you can easily predict what information is required by default for a return document you regularly send, Create and Send can help you be more efficient.
How do I setup and use Create and Send?
Using Auto Sourcing, complete required fields with the information that will be the same every time you send the document.
Check out the article on Auto Sourcing to learn how to complete this step. Auto Sourcing can be used to make document creation more efficient for more than just the Create and Send feature.
Once all required fields for your document are set to Auto Source into new documents, instead of choosing Quick Entry or Full Form Entry in document creation, choose Create and Send Document and watch your efficiency increase.
An alert will appear while your document processes in the background.
If the document is unable to be automatically sent with the information provided in Auto Sourcing, a draft of the document will still be created and saved, so you can quickly complete the missing information and send.
