Assortment is a shared catalog; by default, your item data will be validated against all of your Trading Partners' attribute requirements.

You have visibility to all of your associated Trading Partners on the Trading Partner Settings tab in Assortment.

If you have more than one Trading Partner associated with your Assortment catalog, you may notice items erroring for one Trading Partner when your intention was to upload those items for a different Trading Partner.

As an example, you may upload an item that meets Brown's Shoe Fit Co.'s requirements, but does not meet the requirements for Shoe Show. That item will then display errors associated with Shoe Show.

Since Brown's Shoe Fit is not listed as a Trading Partner Affected, this item is valid for Brown's and would be exported to them. Because the errors is in violation of Shoe Show's requirements the item would not be exported to them.

If the item was intended to go to Brown's but not to Shoe Show, then the error affecting Shoe Show does not need to be corrected.

If an item does not have errors for the Trading Partners it is intended for, there is no need to address errors related to other Trading Partners. Items are not sent to Trading Partners for whom they have errors.

Some item errors will impact multiple trading partners, however, and those will need to be resolved if any of the Trading Partners affected are intended to receive the item data.
